The service
Expensr is a tool that uses an AI model to identify likely waste in a bank or credit card statement that you upload. It produces an analysis report. That is the entire scope of the product.
Not financial advice
Expensr is not a licensed financial advisor. The reports are informational only. They are not investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, debt advice, or any other regulated financial guidance. You are responsible for the decisions you make with your money.
AI accuracy
The analysis is generated by a large language model. It can make mistakes, miss context, or misread your statement. Treat the report as a starting point, not a final verdict. Always sanity check the numbers before acting on them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload statements that are not yours, or use the service to analyze someone else without their consent.
- Try to circumvent the free run limit, the rate limit, or the paywall (such as by deleting cookies in a loop or by scripting the API).
- Use the service to harass, defame, or harm anyone.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or republish the service or any parts of it.
Pricing and billing
Plans are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and include any applicable processing fees. The yearly plan auto renews at the same price every twelve months unless you cancel. The lifetime plan is a single payment with no recurring charges.
Refunds
We refund any plan within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email [email protected] from the same address you used to buy and we will process the refund in 1 to 3 business days.
Cancellation
You can cancel a yearly subscription at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. The lifetime plan does not need cancellation.
Account termination
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. If we close your account for cause, we will not refund the unused portion. You can close your own account at any time by emailing us.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but we do not promise it. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, abuse mitigation, or due to upstream outages with our hosting, database, payment, email, or AI providers.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Expensr is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. The date at the top reflects the latest version. For paid accounts, material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
